NYCHA extranet submission

What the Owner Extranet is used for during lease-up.

For a Section 8 lease-up, the Owner Extranet is the owner-facing online route for rental-packet submission and related landlord tasks. NYCHA's official portal remains the place for account-specific status, documents and actions. PacketPath helps you prepare before you enter sensitive information there.

1 · Get the rental PIN or current lease-up instructions
Coordinate with the voucher holder before starting the online process.
2 · Prepare the rental packet
Review the RFTA, lead disclosure, owner registration, W-9, lease and any property-specific supporting documents that apply.
3 · Submit through the NYCHA Owner Extranet
Use the official NYCHA portal. Do not enter Tax IDs, SSNs, rental PINs, leases or tenant identity documents into PacketPath.
4 · Coordinate voucher-holder review
The online workflow can include a tenant review or approval step. Make sure the voucher holder watches their NYCHA Self-Service account and current instructions.
5 · Follow NYCHA review and next steps
After submission, the lease-up may continue through document review, rent reasonableness, inspection and later authorization milestones.

Before clicking submit

A two-minute landlord review.

Names, addresses and rent

Check that information appearing across the RFTA, lease and supporting documents is consistent. Recheck signatures and dates.

Supporting documents

Do not assume every property uses the same document set. Additional documentation may apply based on the unit or ownership situation.

Keep a submission record

Record the submission date, unit and confirmation or follow-up information NYCHA provides. Avoid storing sensitive identifiers in public notes.

Prepare for inspection early

Use the waiting period to check the apartment rather than waiting for an inspection appointment.

Important distinction

Owner Extranet submission is not move-in authorization.

Do not treat online submission, packet review or inspection progress as final permission to move in. Follow NYCHA's current official authorization instructions and communications for the case.
